As a graduate student, Jovan enjoyed collaborating to create and implement evidence-based programming for children and families impacted by trauma in her community. Inspired by this work, she developed the programming and book "The Confidence Continuum" to provide meaningful prevention initiatives for younger children. The unique classes are closely tied to Jovan's own personal journey of building confidence as a young model and her experiences traveling around the world.
Jovan believes that confidence is best understood as a continuum or journey rather than a destination. Her diverse experiences allow her to connect with various audiences, but she is particularly passionate about motivating and inspiring women, especially girls of color. Jovan's unique style, genuine enthusiasm for life, and valuable skills shine through when she speaks on a variety of topics. Jovan specializes in providing a personalized experience tailored to each audience she engages with.
